We are working hard on these units in October:
Science: organ systems in the human body (this week we are learning about the skeleton and muscles)
Social Studies: rights and responsibilities of a citizen
Language: identifying different types of books (genres) and the writing process
Math: data management
The first math quiz of the year went home today. Parents, please sign the test and return it to school.
If your child is having difficulty with the concepts covered on this test, they should come to Math Club on Thursday 3:30 - 4:00 pm. The Math Club is in my room and run by me. I work with a small group of students to repeat and strengthen their understanding of the concepts we have covered in class.
