We have begun our reading this year by sorting and grouping the books in our classroom library by their genre. The students have been challenged to read at least 30 books this year from a variety of genres. This short video outlines many of the genres that we discovered in class. It is ok to pause the video to read each frame because it does go rather quickly or you could watch it more than once.
