Last week, we went to the TUSC greenhouse and learned how to recognize, photograph and catalogue patterns in many different plants. We looked for patterns in form (layers, spirals, branches) and symmetry (bi-lateral, radial). Working with a partner, students took from 40 to 100 photos!
The following day we went to the TUSC computer lab and created an e-book with the photos. Here are some photos of the students working on two screens at once! They listened to the how-to videos on one screen and then created the e-book on the other screen.
